Honoring Dr. John Merrill
Dr. John Merrill retired in June 2026 after more than four decades in dentistry, with the final decade spent here in Huntersville creating NorthStar.
He built NorthStar Dentistry for Adults around a simple idea: that adults deserve unhurried, meticulous care in a place that doesn’t feel like a dental office.
That idea is still what shapes NorthStar today. Dr. David Bunn, who worked alongside Dr. Merrill for years before becoming his partner in 2022, now leads NorthStar with the help of Dr. Jacob Weiss. Same team, same standards, same approach that brought you here.
