Natalie is from the upper east side of Michigan, known as the “Potato Capital.” She is one of six siblings. Natalie became interested in dentistry while working as a nursing assistant in the hospital. She realized the impact of helping people. Natalie was hired on to Dr. Merrill’s staff in 1998.

Dr. Merrill’s skills and love for the profession has given Natalie a gift of recognizing the passion and artistry dentistry has. Her love and passion for the profession starts with changing people’s lives, giving back what she has learned from Dr. Merrill and the power of a smile.

Amber is Dr. Merrill’s senior full-time hygienist. She grew up knowing her calling in life was to serve others in some capacity. Her interest in dental hygiene came from her childhood enthusiasm for visiting the dentist. A quest to further her career and increase her knowledge led Amber to NorthStar Dentistry for Adults.

Dr. Merrill’s thirst for knowledge, his passion for instilling that knowledge in others, and the emphasis on the quality of care patients receive are just a few of the qualities that Amber loves about being a part of the NorthStar team.

A North Carolina native, Amber resides in Mooresville with her husband and two children.

My husband and I recently moved to the Charlotte area from Chicago. I have been practicing s as a dental hygienist for twenty years. I am very passionate about dentistry and truly enjoy caring for patients. I enjoy keeping up with new advances in dentistry for excellent patient care. I am excited to be part of the team here at North Star Dentistry. The level of skill, compassion and care that Dr. Merrill and Dr. Bunn have for their patients is exceptional.

I am a people person! Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Dave and our sweet dog Dante. I love to cook, connecting with friends and family, listening to music and boating.
